On August 26-27.2006, system vulnerability has been tested on Chaos Constructions' 2006 festival in Saint Petersburg. One of the festival's competitions was a "Deface realtime compo" (Search of a server vulnerability). During this competition (2 days and one night) information security specialists tried to find vulnerabilities in Open-Source CMS Joomla, installed and protected by experts of WebSecure Group company on servers of festival organisators. There were up to 150 testers connected online constantly.
The results of this competition were as follows: CMS Joomla has shown a high degree of security and has resisted all mass attacks of information security specialists.Thus, WebSecure Group company declared system reliable and recommended to operate with, and also entrusted corresponding certificates. |
